Peter Hammerich has been a partner and head of BAHR's Asset Management & Private Equity practice group since 2005, a group currently consisting of around 40 lawyers specialising in asset management. Peter advises leading Scandinavian asset managers, including fund managers within all alternative asset classes, financial institutions, investment banks, insurance companies, pension funds, and sovereign wealth funds. He is frequently instructed on compliance, fundraising, human capital, ESG/sustainability, M&A, tax and regulatory matters, as well as disputes involving asset managers. He is recognised in independent ratings as one of the leading Nordic legal advisors for asset managers. Peter is an active participant in regulatory discussions and policy matters affecting the Norwegian asset management industry, and a frequent speaker at seminars. He is chairman of the Norwegian Alternative Investment Association and chairman of several of the leading asset managers in Norway.

Jonathan Uggedal is a partner and deputy head of BAHR’s Asset Management & Private Equity practice group. Since starting his career in 2010, Jonathan has been advising asset managers in Norway and abroad on the legal aspects of their businesses. He has a particular focus on Scandinavian and cross- border private M&A for private equity sponsors and other asset managers, as well as fund formation, fund M&A, fund financing and other capital solutions tailored for asset managers. He acts for managers within PE, venture, real estate and other alternative assets, and is noted as a next generation partner by independent rankings.
