Philippa Allen, Managing Director of Regulatory Compliance, Asia, has over 30 years’ extensive business and regulation experience in Asia.

Prior to founding ComplianceAsia, which is now part of IQ-EQ, Philippa was the Head of Compliance, APAC for Dresdner Bank and GT Asset Management (LGT Asset Management). She was one of the drafters of the original Fund Manager Code of Conduct in Hong Kong and is involved in numerous submissions to regulators and lobbying efforts with financial industry bodies.

She graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Jurisprudence and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. Upon graduation, she commenced practice as a barrister and solicitor for Freehill Hollingdale and Page, in Perth, Western Australia.

Philippa is a frequent speaker at financial industry conferences and technical panels, and a member of various industry representative bodies including AIMA, ASIFMA, HKVCA, SFAA and SVCA.

Jayesh joined IQ-EQ in August 2023. He is an experienced professional and leader with over 18 years of leading and managing the growth and development of businesses across investment platforms, fintech start-ups and professional services firms.

Prior to joining IQ-EQ, he spent 2 years in-house, building and enhancing the reporting processes, before taking up a new opportunity as a COO at a regional fintech platform focused on payments and financial well-being. Prior to this, he worked at Alter Domus as their Head of Sales and Relationship Management for Asia-Pacific, having already served as the Head of Fund Services in Hong Kong, and Relationship Management Director for Asia Pacific. Jayesh began his career at PwC, where he worked in Hong Kong for over 10 years, specialising in asset and wealth management, specifically private assets i.e. multi-strategy hedge and private equity funds.  

He has extensive knowledge on various financial reporting standards, including IFRS, US GAAP and the INREV/ANREV reporting guidelines, and is familiar with valuation standards such as the IPEV and PEIGG guidelines. In addition to this, he has conducted internal training sessions on private equity, and co-edited industry publications with ANREV.

Jayesh is a Fellow of the HKICPA, is a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW, and is a FRM holder with the Global Association of Risk Professionals. He graduated with a BBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2006.
